Anchored on His Promises

The voice YOU believe will determine the future you experience.

In our lives, we tend to have our closest friends and colleagues either speak words of wisdom and encouragement, and who also tend to be brutally honest and do not have filter. Their “chatter” tends to dictate what we are feeling at the moment it it said. God has given us the ability to choose the dialogue we believe and respond to. “Chatter” is what keeps us from accurately hearing the voice of God.

When it comes to hearing God’s voice, Identity will always come before activity. We need to be anchored on the promises that God has spoken over us.The worth of your activity for Christ cannot rise above your understanding of your identity in Him.  When we allow insecurity to override God’s purpose in our lives, we are implying that He did not do a good job when putting us together and calling us his masterpiece. “I knew you before I formed you in your mother’s womb. Before you were born I set you apart. Jeremiah 1:5 (NLT)” The nature of your calling does not indicate the level of God’s approval of you.

Don’t compare your behind-the-scenes with everybody else’s highlight reel.

Let God’s acceptance be your guidance.
