You’re Next!

I love my city. While people across the country are still dealing with cold weather, I am able to enjoy a beautiful sunny day at the beach. If you are anything like me, you tend to go to the beach (or for those who don’t like the sand, the pool or the mall) to relax and recharge. When you take the time to forget the worry, the pain, and the uncertainty of today, you can make space to be filled up with faith, courage, peace, and strength.

A well is significant. It is a place where you can come to draw out the deep things you are searching for. For the Samaritan Woman, she came to draw water to satisfy her physical thirst but when she encountered Jesus; her spiritual emptiness was quenched as well. Every child needs four things: acceptance, focused attention, guidance, and protection. These four emotional needs are met by God.

“Faith enabled Moses to choose God’s will, for although he was raised as the son of Pharaoh’s daughter, he refused to make that his identity, choosing instead to suffer mistreatment with the people of God. Moses preferred faith’s certainty above the momentary enjoyment of sin’s pleasures. He found his true wealth in suffering abuse for being anointed, more than anything in the world could offer him, for his eyes looked with wonder not on the immediate, but on the ultimate—faith’s great reward! Holding faith’s promise Moses abandoned Egypt and had no fear of Pharaoh’s rage because he persisted in faith as if he had seen God who is unseen.” (Hebrews 11:24-27)

For Moses, the well is where he found: his mission, his mentor, his motivation, and his relationship with God.

Stop resisting the process by which God is trying to reveal himself through.

The future will require more of you.

Most of us go kicking and screaming instead of moving into it with an assuredness that not only is God on the other side, but new facets of Him that we haven’t discovered yet and are also there.

God must do great work in us before he can do it through us.

Don’t neglect the fact that, our Heavenly Father has called you and has purposed you to be on a journey. The only way that Jesus can ever use you at the level that He wants to use you is to take you through what you could not go through by yourself.

Because you went through that, you are prepared for this. You didn’t understand it then, but you understand now. Had you not gone through that, you wouldn’t be the person you are now with the mentality and faith you have. God brought you through that and it has prepared you for this!

Jesus can only trust us when we give it all to him. It’s not that there aren’t enough resources, it is that we lack vision.

If you use what you’ve got, God will be what you are not.

He calls you out so you can call others in.

Get Ready: The future is waiting for those with the courage to create it.
