Missed it!

How many of you get impatient after thirty minutes of waiting in line for something? In Miami, I’ve operated always with being on the go and simply get the most out of my day. The more I accomplish, the better. However, doing things my own way has not always been the best answer. I remember a couple of year ago, I accepted a job offer that wasn’t going to let me flow and work to my fullest potential and it ended up being a burden instead of a blessing. Has a similar situation ever happened to you? You can have the right motives but do the wrong moves. The same principle can be applied to your relationship with God. The only thing that is hard than waiting on God is wishing that you had. Anytime you come up with your own solution but it is not in submission to God’s strategy, it will become your sabotage. Don’t let the fact that you are not in control lead you to believe that you don’t have a choice.

Never compromise the vision or the process that God has given you. Most of us, overestimate how much control we have and underestimate the choice we have. You never really have control in a situation, but you ALWAYS have a choice. Instead of blaming your current situation on decision you made, see it as an opportunity to ask yourself to questions: “Where have you come from”? and “Where are you going”? You can either forcefully do things your own way or flee from waiting to see what God has in store for you by being in the driver’s seat of your vehicle AKA your life. If you force it, you miss God’s solution because your substitute yours for His. If you flee it, you are not there to see it {your dreams, what you have been waiting and praying for} when it comes. Don’t let your life be defined by what you are missing out on than what you are going to. It’s ok to not have your life completely planned out or to know what the future will bring, surrender your control and submit to being under God’s authority. God is more interested in your submission not in your solution.

If you are in a dry and frustrating place, don’t get discouraged or disappointed. This is a season of preparation where you are being sent to a place you don’t want to be, so that you can give birth to a purpose God has called you to carry. In this moment, there is something so great happening in you (even if it is hard to see it naturally), it (that thing that you are passionate about, your “God Dream”) is going to take some time, but when it happens, it is going to be bigger and better than anything you imagine. You can’t continue to blame _____________ for what you are going through and expect to receive a blessing. It does not work that way, Don’t quit even in your misery (hard place). Release it and let God redeem it. There are no expiration dates in the Kingdom, He will ALWAYS use you.
