Take Courage
What is stopping you from reaching your goals? What is holding you back from taking that trip, starting that business, publishing that book, losing that weight, writing that song, filming that tutorial……?( and the list can go on forever……) I believe it is not because we lack motivation to start something or, because we have lost the drive to complete it.
Getting it Right
trusting God completely, you’re no longer at the mercy of circumstances, other people, or your own emotions and limitations. It’s all about following God’s leading, standing on His Word, and then resting + trusting Him to work on your behalf.
How it all Came to be
Faith is the process of adapting your behavior, your decisions, and ultimately, your whole lifestyle so that it is in sync with what God has asked you to do—without needing to see the evidence that it will all work out in the end.So, when you put Flourishing by Faith together, you are living a life that says:
I pray and then believe.
I expect and then see.
I ask and then I receive.
I am not easily discouraged or paralyzed by fear or insecurity.
Outnumbered Yet Undefeated.
This has been a desert season; yet, I’ve learned that God often speaks clearly in the valley. Every time I neglect the simple yet profound truths of who God is, I choose to forget that God is on the throne, He is in control and that there are far greater things ahead than those that I leave behind.
You Get What You Go For
How you start your day will determine how it is going to be. I wonder how many of us place the same amount of effort and excitement to enriching our purpose and mapping out our future than we do to predicting the outcome of college basketball.
Be Found
Too often, we miss out on what God wants to do in us and through us because we listen to the voice of the Enemy telling us, you’ll never ever ________________. Most of the barriers in front of us are rooted in two identity issues: the way in which others perceive us and the way in which we see ourselves. If you never know how to be loved, you will never know how to give love. We are commanded to prepare for the move of God before he makes the first move.
It’s All Part of the Plan.
God is better than you think He is.He is more faithful than you know Him to be. Up to this point, you have already seen what you can do, it is time to see what God can do. Be confident knowing that God has already placed the destination in your GPS and has an exceedingly abundantly above all that we can ask or think plan.
Faith Talks
Have you discovered what you are passionate about? What is something that sets your heart on fire and, that you want to make a priority in this new year? Don’t wait until next week or next month to begin making an action plan; Start NOW! Our dreams are not independent from God, but instead exist because of God.
Rise Up
There will come a time that the people you were positioned with yesterday and the mentalities that they represent, will not be adequate for where God is taking you. When God speaks, and gives you the go, don’t have a plan b. You do not want to go where God has not gone before you.
