Unwavering Faith

Our daily challenge is to synchronize our faith with God’s schedule.  Destiny is not a drive thru, where you can order _____________ and expect to receive it five minutes later. I have learned that everything God will reveal in your life will be done in stages. In the bible, our ability to exercise our faith is illustrated by sowing seeds and reaping a harvest in due time.

Before you sow a seed, you need to plow the ground first to make sure that the soil is ready for the scattering stage. With time as you continue to take care of the seed, the sprouting stage will take place and you will be ready to harvest the grain. I know what you must be thinking, “Ok Dani, enough with all this agricultural talk. How can I apply this principle to my own life”?

The real question is: How do you relate with impatience when God’s schedule is not synchronized with yours?

I Can.

Faith is not a feeling; it is a decision. Until you face it (it can be limited thinking, discouragement, pride, resentment, bitterness, anger, disappointment …. Etc.), faith can’t fix it. Don’t judge the tree by the size of the seed; attach the seed of your dream to the seed of your faith. If it is His vision, He will give you the provision!

I am Anointed.

Sometimes when you are not seen, God is saving you for something so special that He hides you to protect you and preserve you.

It is the things that no one sees that produce everything that everyone wants. Keep doing what you are do with a greater awareness of what Christ is doing in you. You don’t need a “new and improved” assignment to experience a greater anointing.  God will increase your strength in the demands of the situation.

I am Able.

The voices you believe will determine the future you experience. Let your life’s navigation system be led by the spirit and not by your senses. You walk by faith and not by sight. God will warn you but He will never create worry within you. Don’t be focus on your storm; focus on the future God has promised you. Your faith is powered by your focus.

First Priorities

There are things in your life that if you don’t fix, you won’t do. It is not a matter of provision; it is a matter of priority.  It takes faith to put God first. This may be uncomfortable at times but trust me, it is SO worth it. If you release what you have, He will release what you need.

More than a Conqueror

Often it is easier to reduce our theology to the level of our reality than to bring our reality to the level of our theology. What is there to worry if God has already given you the victory. You may be in the fourth quarter getting ready for overtime but, you can rest assured knowing that you’ve already won. Your life is not contingent upon anyone or anything that is no longer with you or that has left you. God will not let anyone who left you, limit you to where He is taking you.

It’s a Lifestyle.

Sometimes we feel like we need all this elaborate training, knowledge, or even background when, faith is meant to be more than a formality. Faith is patience with mystery and, the opposite of that is certainty. You usually don’t stretch yourself to a territory that enables the faith that you need for the challenge you are going to face because, it is uncomfortable.  Since we have such a situational view of God, most of our lives are spent trying to fix that situation.

Sweetness + Strength

You won’t be able to strengthen others if you don’t strengthen yourself. It is possible that you may be failing NOT because you are weak but because you are not well fed.  If you don’t eat what is sweet (Jonathan ate of the honey), you will always turn to something bitter. Don’t let bitter people keep you from enjoying God’s blessings. Win a battle and take a bite! Don’t deprive yourself from what God put in your path to develop you because, if you don’t fill up on the honey that God provides, your appetite will find another way to be satisfied.

Missed it!

Never compromise the vision or the process that God has given you. Most of us, overestimate how much control we have and underestimate the choice we have. You never really have control in a situation, but you ALWAYS have a choice. Instead of blaming your current situation on decision you made, see it as an opportunity to ask yourself to questions: “Where have you come from”? and “Where are you going”? You can either forcefully do things your own way or flee from waiting to see what God has in store for you by being in the driver’s seat of your vehicle AKA your life.

Obedience in the Waiting.

It is very easy to get weary in the process and begin to wonder if God really promised you something. Worry not and begin to rejoice because, our God does not waver and he will fulfill what He promised in His timing not yours. Sometimes God will stop the flow of manna and will shut down the sky in order to reveal to you His calling. You may be in a famine or in a drought in your life but you will never have a lack in the word of God. He is always speaking to you where you are (through what you have and what you don’t have). God does not want you to depend on something that does not have his support in Him.
